BRAC began its operation in Afghanistan in 2002, has been implementing its development programs in education, health, citizens’ charter Afghanistan programme as well as capacity development in the country.




Job Summary:

To assist CHIA in preparing Monthly Audit Plan, Annual Internal Audit Plan, quarterly reports and reviewing Internal Audit Reports.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assist Country Head of Internal Audit (CHIA) to prepare Risk base Annual Audit Plan for BRAC Afghanistan and its achievement as per Audit Plan.
  • To carry out Department audit, quarterly financial audit and annual audit, special/ investigation audit.
  • Document, evaluate and test systems and controls to determine the adequacy and effectiveness, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures, reliability and integrity of information, and safeguarding of assets.
  • To assist CHIA for review & finalize the draft reports (General Audit, Special Report (if any) and Physical Verification Report.
  • Prepare and preserve the various documentations for audit work such as working papers, audit programme, supporting evidence, permanent file, current file, circulars, minutes and office memo.
  • To carry out the annual inventory count in country office and other offices.
  • Effective Communication through the Country Head of Internal Audit (CHIA), Programme Management, Departmental Staffs and Head Office Management (IAD) in performing assigned job and discuss about the major risks or audit findings identified in the internal audit.
  • To carry out any other work assigned by CHIA.

 




 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Job Requirement:

  • In-depth knowledge in Audit System.
  • In-depth knowledge in Audit & Accounts.
  • In-depth knowledge in various Programme & Projects.
  • In-depth knowledge in Afghan Regulatory & Donors Requirement.
  • Ability to write audit report in a standard way & efficiently.
  • Intra Departmental communication done effectively.
  • Ability to operate computer easily & efficiently such as MS word, Excel, Power point & Internet.
  • PROFESSIONAL DEGREE / CERTIFICATION M.COM (MBA)
  • Minimum relevant experience 3 to 4 years
