We seek exceptional candidates for Project Coordinator role who have the passion, intellectual acuity, and business acumen to help with implementation of our projects. Project coordinators will be responsible for day-to-day coordination of the tasks and deliverables with different project stakeholders. He/She will also prepare briefs and updates on the project’s progress and will report directly to the project manager.

Job Summary:

The Project Coordinator’s primary focus is completion of day-to-day tasks assigned to them by the project managers based on the projects’ scope of work. The assignments of project coordinators will vary over time, in line with changes and demands of the projects/programs and the funding.

This role will be mainly to support the program management team including the project managers, program director and the rest of the team on day to day business of the projects. Being responsible for one or several components of a project at a time, the coordinator plays a key role, and works very closely with the project management team.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• The incumbent is responsible for the overall management of the education program implementation including budget and internal control, stakeholder and team management and development of reports.

 

 




 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

• Support the project field staff in preparation, review, and periodic revision of their detailed implementation plans and management.• Monitor the implementation progress of the project by means of provincial field visits and periodic meetings with local stakeholders.• Work with the provincial based project team for the implementation of monthly targets; weekly work plans; database management; regular reviews of target indicators; and the processing of status updates from field staff.

• Work closely with Project Manager and project team to implement the project objectives within the budget.

• Establish meaningful working relationship with project key stakeholders such as Govt. dept. CSOs, IPs, district level authorities and community members.

• Ensuring partners adhere to provided timelines and deliverables

• Ensuring documentation is maintained throughout the length of the project

• Communicating plans, actions, risks, and issues with partners

• Solving any issues that may arise during the project

• Managing and building relationships with multiple teams

• Assisting the Project Manager with administrative functions and processes

• Managing day-to-day activities for the Project Management team

• Analyzing project data and producing progress reports

• Conducting random site visits to ensure project implementation in all the provinces

• Maintaining daily contact with partners to prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports

• Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly monitoring of sites and prepare reports for the management

• Any other tasks assigned by the project management

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, economics, education, project management, communications or law and political sciences.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in project management
  • Good knowledge of computer applications
