Job Summary:
A production officer makes sure that production goes according to plan. Everyone involved in the program, characters, and team crew, knows what they have to do and when they have to do it.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Production officer works in close cooperation with Traffic Manager to able to make a proper shooting plan.
• Production officer works together with Senior Creative Manager/External Project Manager to understand production requirements.
• Production officer works in close cooperation with Finance Coordinator on a transparent budgeting.
• Production officer must keep the dedicated shooting budget, arrives from Finance Coordinator.
• In case of overspending Production officer reports (in prior) Senior Creative Manager/External Project Manager and Finance Coordinator.
• Production officer reads through the script of the program in advance where possible to get to grips with the details.
• Finding and Booking Locations.
• Calls back and makes sure all crew is on time for the day of shoot.
• Making legitimate purchases by presenting valid bills/documents.
• Booking Car/Transport and generating Security code a day before shooting.
• Buying props, a day or two prior to day of shooting under supervision of Creative Finance Coordinator.
• Casting under director’s supervision and negotiating character fees, under guidance of Creative Finance Coordinator.
• Facilitating Recordings on the day of recording (catering, miscellaneous purchases).
Job Requirement:
• High School Graduate, bachelor’s preferred.
• with at least 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Dealing with the budget and responsible for expenditure during projects.
• Organizing and presenting billings and expenses records of projects to Creative Finance Coordinator on the requested deadline.
