Job Summary:

We are looking for exceptional candidates with the passion, intellectual insight, and business acumen to help us grow and deepen our impact. Monitoring and Evaluation Coordinator will ensure that Lapis implements the monitoring and evaluation of its project commitments as set out in its strategic outlook. The M&E coordinator will be ensuring that suitable monitoring and evaluation systems are in place, implemented as intended, and reporting in a comprehensive and timely manner to facilitate program coordinators and managers deliver programs that achieve the desired outcomes/impacts.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for providing technical oversight & support for establishment and maintenance of routine monitoring systems, presentation of findings to program management and building staff competencies in M&E.









• Work with project and support staff to ensure that project design in proposals is logically sound, beneficiary-informed, and contextually appropriate, based on learning from previous projects and technical best practice, and includes a Theory of Change and SMART logical framework (with LAPIS core indicators and enabling assessment of project progress, quality, outcomes, and if relevant impact).• Responsible for ensuring timely, high quality data collection, entry, analysis, and reporting by national partners’ M&E teams across the zones of operation• Prepare, compile and sort filled forms for data entry

• Check source documents/ filled forms for accuracy and completeness and obtain further information for incomplete documents and update data whenever necessary

• Accurately enter data from source documents/ forms into Database. Analyze any data entry errors and address with local partners district staff

• Provide an indicator matrix

• Consider data quality audits

• Consider storing, protecting, and sharing project documents

• Consider the end of project learning review

• Work with project and support staff to determine which monitoring activities will take place and which data collection methods will be used to ensure their adequacy and appropriateness

• Work with project and support staff to establish project/program databases &/or tracking sheets, &/or set up in the data platform

• Provide the M&E inputs for needs assessment and survey report writing

• Provides inputs from survey and assessment data for tracking of overall progress on projects

• Other tasks as delegated by the reporting supervisor












Job Requirement:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management information system or computer science, master’s degree is preferred
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in monitoring and evaluation or project management
  • Good knowledge computer applications
