It enjoys consultative status with the Economic and social Council of the United Nations and is a signatory to the Code of Conduct for International Red Cross and red Crescent Moments and NGOs in Disaster Relief. IRA started its humanitarian activities for Afghan Refugees in Pakistan and Afghan people inside Afghanistan in 1992. Since then, IRA continued providing assistances in emergency relief, food security, women empowerment, girl education, orphan sponsorship, health, emergency education, shelter, ramadan and qurbani programs.

Job Summary:

Under the overall guidance of the Admin/Logistic Officer and/or his designated official, the driver in particularly carries out the following duties:

Duties & Responsibilities:

·        Responsible for the safety and security of the passengers and the proper care and operation of the vehicle.

·        Drives office vehicles for the transport of authorized personnel and delivery and collection of mail, documents and other items;

·        Meets official personnel at the airport and facilitates immigration and customs formalities as required.

·        Responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of the assigned vehicle, oil control, water, battery, brakes, tires, etc., performs minor repairs and arranges for other repairs and ensures that the vehicle is kept clean;

·        Ensure that at all times the vehicle is equipped with the correct tools and spare parts (functioning jack, a spade, an approved tool kit, a spare wheel with a properly inflated tyres and an approved first aid kit) and keep chains available during winter in the vehicles.

·        Report all accidents, or other incidents involving other vehicles or pedestrian, to the office manager. Also ensure that the proper procedures for insurance claims are followed at the time and scene of any accident.

·        Logs official trips, daily mileage, gas consumption, oil changes, greasing, etc.;

·        Perform any other duty as required.













Job Requirement:


HighSchool Graduate

Driver’s license, knowledge of driving rules, regulations, and skills in minor vehicle repair


1 to 3 years work experience as driver preferably with International Organization, NGOs safe driving record
