Job Summary:

  1. Must be a strong and organized individual with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are also required. Specific requirements include:
  2. Bachelor’s Degree in accounting and/or finance required
  3. 3 years of progressive accounting experience
  4. Experience in job cost accounting and financial reporting
  5. Understanding of Afghanistan Taxation Laws & Procedures required
  6. Good English skills in writing, reading and speaking (Turkish preferred)
  7. Proficiency with MS Office applications, extensive knowledge of a complete package of MS Office
  8. Organize and maintain electronic and paper base used in organization financial management including Mikro.
  9. Extensive experience with Mikro system
  10. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  11. Flexibility in working hours, ability to work under pressure



Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Develop computer based (Mikro supported) financial system, and incorporate main office and all running projects into the new financial system.
  2. Preparing of the procurement office expenditure forms
  3. Entering daily transactions to the Mikro system and reconciling daily petty cash with cashier
  4. Scanning all daily financial documents and filing them as hard and soft
  5. Reconciling daily, monthly and yearly transactions
  6. To prepare the year-end financial accounts for audit and to liaise with the Auditors prior to sign-off.
  7. To liaise with Afghanistan Revenue Directorate (ARD) for processing of quarterly BRT reports and tax filing for Payrolls, other taxable income.
  8. Participate in the formation and implementation of company financial plans
  9. Preparation of all monthly financial reports
  10. Work with internal team and outside accounting/financial firms on monthly close-out procedures (if and when needed)
  11. Provide reporting and budgeting as required by Senior Management.
  12. Supervise accounts payable and accounts receivable staff and functions.
  13. Develop written accounting procedures for the operations staff and work with team to ensure proper implementation and compliance.
  14. Flexible for any other jobs whatever given by management
